We continue the topic of overwhelm and look at procrastination.
Procrastination is the killer that often stops us from creating course content.
Have you ever been in a situation where your mind is flooded with a tonne of different thoughts? These thoughts can become overwhelming, so our mind begins to wander and you’re no longer writing, and now you’re standing in front of your wardrobe, organising the sock drawer. Because that’s a lot easier to deal with than organising your thoughts and ideas for your online course.
However, delaying the writing process is not going to get the content done faster. When there’s no content written for your course, you’re not going to have anything to sell online and that inevitably means no income coming into your business.
One thing that I have found helpful in sorting out my procrastinating habits is understanding how my mind works and today’s guest Nick is the perfect person to ask what to do when we’re procrastinating.
Nick shares with us:
- One tool to combat fear
- Recognising and challenging self-sabotage
- Building a comfort zone on where we want to be
- What to do when other people start judging our actions
- How to tap into our intuition to get things done
- What to do when the feeling of overwhelm has trapped us into inaction
- Why self-care is paramount for our success
After listening to Nick, you’ll discover he smashes the perception that hypnotherapists are weird people waving pendulums in front of our eyes and getting us to do strange acts of embarrassments.
Instead, Nick has shared with us tools that support us to live our lives to the best of our potential. Hypnosis is one effective tool at challenging our limiting beliefs.

The actionable task for today is to picture your goal. What’s the thing you want to achieve? Is it releasing your first online course? Whatever it is, have this as your last thought before you go to bed at night and the first thing you think of in the morning.
Picture your end result and include the affirmation, ‘Things flow to me easily and effortlessly’
